Kay Spears, MS - Director of Operations
Professor Spears is a veteran educator with a variety of experiences and expertise. In addition to teaching bar courses, she has served as a classroom professor, course writer, and administrator at several law schools and universities.She graduated from University of Southern California School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice.
Prof. Jeff Fleming - Founder
Jeff Fleming, JD, cofounded Fleming's Fundamentals of Law 1982. As law professor and the main lecturer for Fleming’s courses, he instructs in fifteen bar-related subjects, showcasing the interconnectedness of the topics across different test formats. Over the course of forty years, Prof. Fleming focused his legal practice on creating resources and workshops that enhance law students' and bar examinees' understanding of substantive law and their test-taking abilities. He also consulted as a legal education advisor for several California law schools, and his works are distributed in legal bookstores nationwide.

Prof. Susan Sneidmiller – Co-founder
Susan Sneidmiller, co-founder of Fleming's and a practicing attorney, formerly served as Special Deputy Trial Counsel for the California State Bar. She belongs to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinguished group of U.S. trial lawyers with membership reserved for those who have secured million-dollar verdicts and settlements. In 1983, Sneidmiller leveraged her legal acumen and scholarly insight to create a systematic Performance method designed to impart the essential principles for passing the Performance exam. Her expertise is sought after at numerous California law schools where she teaches her method, and she continues to be the lead instructor for her Performance Workshops. Sneidmiller has also written several Performance Examination guides, which are sold in legal bookstores nationwide.
